The Faith of God // 2019

Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:” (Heb 10:35-36)

Bob Jones, who I know to be a true prophet and friend of God, gave a 100-year prophecy for many, many years of his life (you can listen to that prophecy here. I highly recommend you do!). In this prophecy, Bob Jones said that the years 2010-2019 would reveal the Faith of God. For some reason, I always interpreted this to mean that we would see amazing miracles during that period of time. I would often tell my dad, “I think we’re gonna see arms and limbs grow out this year!” Up until New Years 2019, I was still telling this to my dad. I don’t know why I thought that that was the interpretation of the revealing of the “Faith of God.”

Since that time, however, I have gained more understanding and a better perspective on this subject.

What I realized is that a “revealing of the faith of God” does not mean a demonstration of miracles, but rather a Generation being raised up in Faith. It means a generation growing up in this period, being taught how to think and believe, right from the start. Why? Because when a person’s thought system is built and established on faith (i.e. faith is the foremost and innermost foundation of their belief system), all things are possible; there are no limitations.

I then remembered the fact of how faith is produced. Faith comes by hearing, not by sight. Amazing miracles being displayed does not necessarily create faith within a person. It creates the surface-level faith to believe that those things are possible, but not the deep knowing and trusting that God desires to resound at the very core of the hearts of this breed He is raising up today.

Again, faith comes by hearing. We are a generation hearing; a generation being taught and told what is possible by the greatest generation of mothers and fathers to ever do their job. Their words, prophecies, and visions are entering our ears, penetrating our hearts, going beneath our consciousness, deeper than even our subconscious, and there abiding and flourishing as the fruit and testimony of all the collective saints starting from Enoch. This then forms the very core foundation of our existence (mind/soul). That is the Faith of God.

So, we are a Faith Generation. A generation taught to dream BIG; a generation that will walk and trust in peace (walk with an inner-conscious knowing) unlike any other generation before us.

The first 4-5 months of 2019 were very difficult for me personally. Talking to some of my friends, many had similar experience. Some went through personal problems; many experienced intense relational problems in family. Many things also changed in the church (body of Christ) around the world, especially regarding large conferences and regular christian gatherings. Plans were upset; things were being shaken.

All of these things produce faith. While in the midst of our challenges it can seem difficult to see or understand what is going on, I know that everything that we experience here and now is small and incomparable to what (the glory) God our Father has in store for our tomorrow (what He has prepared).

Challenges produce Faith. Calling to mind the paradoxical nature of God that we see so often in Scripture, often it is those who go through AND are presently experiencing the most difficult battles, who have the most faith to overcome that exact thing (pain; struggle) that they are going through.

2019 is the last year of the ten-year span of God revealing His faith in us. Next year (2020) we enter into the period of the “Rest of God.” It does not seem strange to me that at this time there is a “shaking of things that can be shaken,” in order to produce a “strengthening of those things that are eternal (that eternal subsistence).” Be encouraged and receive strength (endurance) in knowing that God is refining you, perfecting you, and establishing you in the midst of everything that is going on around you (the whirlwind that surrounds you). And then remember that He is that whirlwind. For as He promises, “I will never leave you nor forsake you,” and, “I am with you always (surrounding you like a storm), even to the end of the age.”

So don’t lose your bold, courageous faith, for you are destined for a great reward! You need the strength of endurance to reveal the poetry of God’s will and then you receive the promise in full. Hebrews 10:35-36 TPT
